Clifford "Cliff" J. Stefens, Sr., 86, of Exton, previously of Newtown Square, Delaware County, died Feb., 16 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Frances W. (Woyton) Stefens. Born in Sharon Hill, he was the son of the late Clifford Max and Louise E. (Schellman) Stefens. Cliff was a veteran of the US Marines. He was employed as a butcher and meat manager for a number of grocery stores. Cliff loved to go hunting and fishing, and enjoyed traveling with his family. Cliff took pride in his custom camper that he built from his Chevy van. He was also an avid metal detector who wrote numerous published articles on the subject. Surviving with Frances are his children: William J., wife Rebecca of Trumbauersville, Clifford J. Jr., of Exton and two grandchildren: Allison and Kayla. Services are to be private at the convenience of the family.
