Chrystal Shaffer

Shaffer, Chrystal V.Chrystal V. Shaffer, 93, of Center Valley, died June 7, in LifeQuest Nursing Home, Quakertown. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Russell J. and Anna M. (Stockert) Sheetz. She was the wife of the late Martin A. Shaffer. She was a 1939 graduate of Quakertown High School. Chrystal was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Quakertown, where in years past she was a member of the choir and taught Sunday School. During WWII she worked for the Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C. She was also employed by the Loyal Order of the Moose, Quakertown, where she had been a bookkeeper and office worker. She retired a number of years ago. Survivors: She is survived by 19 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, E. Barry Shaffer and brother Russell W. Scheetz. Services: will be held Thurs. June 12, 11am First Church of the Brethren, 455 Trumbauersville Rd., Quakertown. Call 10-11am in the church. Interment to follow in Quakertown Union Cemetery. Jeffrey A.
