Charles J. "Chuck" Stehlik III, 67, of Quakertown, died peacefully at his home in the presence of his family Sun., June 9. He was the husband of Barbara J. (Sanwald) Stehlik for the past 43 years. Chuck worked for the County of Bucks in the county mailroom for the past 10 years. Previously, he worked 25 years as an information system analyst for PECO in Phila. Born in Abington, he was a son of the late Charles J. Stehlik, Jr. and Elizabeth Jane (Farren) Stehlik Rotelli. A graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, he served as a 1st Lieut. with the US Army combat engineers in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 242, Quakertown where he served as treasurer for a number of years. For nearly 10 years he served as a Republican committeeman in Quakertown 3rd Ward. Surviving with his wife, are his daughter Jennifer "Jen" Steich, husband Rick, Quakertown; son Charles J., IV, wife Linda, of Gwynedd Valley; sisters Mary Ashford, New Hope, Suzanne Mehta, Northville, Mich., Rita Tedesco, Ringwood, NJ; grandchildren Sami, Wes, Will, Charlie V, & Sophia. He was predeceased by a step-father, Albert Rotelli and brother Michael. A ceremony of Shared Memories in celebration of his life will be held noon, Mon. June 17 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home 11 am to noon.
