Charles E. Scholz, 90, of Pennsburg, formerly of Phila. & Lansdale, died Sat. Mar. 28 in St. Luke's-Quakertown Hospital. He was the loving husband of Jane (Collins) Scholz for the past 64 years. He worked as a storekeeper for PECO in the North Wales facility, retiring after over 30 years of service. Born in Phila, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Marion (McDermitt) Scholz. Charlie was a proud Marine who served his country during WW II in the Pacific Theatre as an artillery gunner. Surviving with his wife, are daughters Kathy Buehrle (Paul Szczepaniak, Jr.), Pennsburg & Nancy Andrews (David) in Kansas; grandchildren, Candis, David, Erica, Adia & Matthew, great-grandchildren Connor, Mackaela, Hayden, David, Lynne & Lael. He was predeceased by infant daughter, Deborah, grandson, Sean, and son-in-law, Michael Buehrle. Funeral services will be held 11 am Fri. April 3 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown with a calling hour from 10 - 11 am preceding. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Phila.
