Catherine Gerhart

Catherine (Forster) Gerhart, 89, of Spinnerstown, died, Mon. Nov. 5, in LifeQuest Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Ernest L. "Ernie" Gehart. She worked as the bookkeeper for Farm & Home Oil Company in Telford for 42 years before retiring. She was an active member of West Swamp Menninite Church, Quakertown where she was active in numerous church social committees, served many years on the audit committee and was a former librarian. Born in Germany, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Biermeyer) Forster. Surviving: son: David, fiancée Joanne Hippeli, Spinnerstown, sister Frances Mohr, Spinnerstown; granddaughters, Stacy and Jenna. Services will be held at 11am Sat, Nov. 10 in West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 . Call: 10-11 AM Sat. at the church. Interment will be in West Swamp Cemetery.
