C. Mumbauer

C. Matthew Mumbauer, 97, of Quakertown, died Mon., Oct. 28 in Belle Haven. He was the loving husband of Anna Mae (Meyers) Mumbauer. Born in Richland Township, he was a son of the late Howard and Mary Elizabeth (Shive) Mumbauer. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Matthew worked a foreman for the former John Renninger Pants Factory, Quakertown for 45 years prior to his retirement in 1978. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Surviving with his wife, son, Kenneth, wife Nancy, Quakertown; daughter, Mary Benitez, husband Joseph, Newport, NC; grandchildren, Michael, Dianne, Richard and Brian; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Brandon, Brian Jr., Austin, Nicholas and Morgan; and great-great grandson Zachary. Funeral services will be held 11:30am Mon., Nov. 4 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown.
