Bruce Walck

Bruce E. Walck, 54, of Quakertown, died Tuesday, February 4th at his home. He was the loving husband of Candy (Scampton) Walck. They celebrated 30 years of marriage last May. He was employed as a restoration technician for Linder & Associates, Perkasie for the past 25 years. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Franklin and Joyce (Frey) Walck. Bruce was a member of East Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown where he served on the Facilities Committee and assisted with the Men's Ministry. He was a member of the Hellertown Sportsmen Club, the Lehigh Valley Police Revolver League, where he was currently vice-president, the NRA, Hiawatha Hunting & Fishing Club of East Stroudsburg, and was active with the Women in the Outdoors program. He was also a member of the Lehigh Valley Woodworkers Guild and served with the Technical Students Association, as a mentor/chaperone and judged competitions at the state & regional levels. Surviving with his wife are sons; Jared and Jeremy, wife Alicia; daughter, Sierra Leatherman, husband Aaron, all of Quakertown; brother, Kevin, wife Beth, of Bethlehem; sister, Donna Natterman, husband Ted of Bingen. Services will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 11th at East Swamp Mennonite Church, 2405 E. Swamp Rd., Quakertown. Call 5-8 PM, Monday, February 10th and 5:30-6:30 PM, Tuesday, February 11th at the church. Interment will be in East Swamp Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
