Betty Guiles

Betty Lou Morton Guiles, 83, of Richlandtown, died Tues. July 9, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the loving wife of Earl Guiles for 52 years this April. She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Quakertown Furniture store for a number of years before retiring in 1991. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H and Katharine P. (Weldner) Morton. She was an avid quilter and sewer known for her extreme creativity. Betty Lou demonstrated great love for all animals. Surviving with her husband are children Earl, Jr, Karen, Adele, Nancy & Alice, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
