Betty Drescher

Betty Drescher, 87, of Quakertown, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John M. Drescher. Born in Nottingham, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Martha (Gish) Keener. Betty was an elementary school teacher for many years. She was a member of Finland Mennonite Church, Pennsburg. Surviving are her children: Ron Drescher, wife Inez; Rev. Sandy Drescher-Lehman, husband John; Rose Longacre, husband Rich; Joe Drescher, wife Janice and David Drescher, wife Rhonda; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Riehl. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Finland Mennonite Church, 1750 Ziegler Road, Pennsburg. Visitation will be held on Friday September 30 from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Finland Mennonite Church.
