Bethry L. Schwartz, 75, of Quakertown, formerly of Doylestown, died Wed., Mar. 26th in Belle Haven Nursing Home. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Hyman & Mary (Harvey) Schwartz. She received her Masters in Nursing and worked for a number of years as a psychiatric nurse in various facilities. She taught psychiatric nursing at Villanova School of Nursing and retired after working for HICFA as an evaluator and auditor of psychiatric facilities. Bethry was an accomplished musician in piano & flute. After she retired, she wrote poetry and worked for Help Source as a weekend call coordinator and dispatcher of health care aides and also handled patient inquiries. Over the years Bethry was mother to seven Dachshunds. She was a woman strong in her faith and loved her life as a follower of Christ. Surviving are her sons, David Korr and Steven Korr, wife Monica of Quakertown; brother, Michael Schwartz, of Overland, KS & grandchildren, Timothy & Jasmine. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Sat. Mar. 28th at the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Family & friends are invited to call at the funeral home Sat. 10 - 11 am. Interment will be in Doylestown Cemetery.
