Bertha Mundy

Bertha D. Mundy, of North Wales, previously of Quakertown, died Friday in her home. She was the wife of Charles L. Mundy with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage on Dec. 10. Born in Richland Twp., Bucks Co. she was a daughter of the late Eugene S. and Minnie (Detweiler) Afflerbach. She was the last survivor of fourteen children. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Richlandtown. Bertha was recognized as a loving caregiver by family and friends by assisting in the care of numerous siblings and friends. Surviving with her husband, daughter Linda Schiele, husband Jim of North Wales, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and god son, Stanley Honeybone. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wed. Dec. 19 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown. www.janauglefcs.com Call at the funeral home Tues.
