Barbara Temos

Barbara Temos, 65, of Philadelphia, died Friday Jan 10th at Rockhill Mennonite Community, Sellersville. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Kutztown University in 1969. Later she earned an additional Bachelor's in Library Science from Kutztown University. Finally completing a Master's degree in Information Science from Drexel University. Upon graduation she joined the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) which later became Thomson Reuters. Her career there spanned 31 years in a variety of positions culminating the role of Senior Director of Products and Services. Born in Northampton County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Julia (Naydyhor) Temos. Surviving her is her sister, Regina Hellerman, wife of Richard, of Perkasie; her nieces Brandi Hellerman, Megan Hellerman and her nephew Derek Hellerman. And close friends from every period of her life. Barb was known for her love of nature and photography and her mischievous sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Sierra Club or the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Galloway, NJ. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
