Barbara A. Simonds, 69 of Quakertown, died Fri. Feb. 12th at her home. She was the beloved wife of Mark Simonds for 31 years. Barb worked for the Bucks County Adult Probation and Parole Department for over 20 years. Born in Cleveland, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Marion (Standish) Keirns. Always on the go, Barb was a member of the AFSCME District Council 88. She was a Weight Watchers Leader and was active in the Freidensville Church Bowling League. She loved bingo, her swimming class at Workout Plus, and especially adored her three Yorkies, Kiki, Koko, and Missy. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie. Surviving with her husband is her daughter, Christine Galione, husband David of Quakertown; son, Michael Fraley, wife Tricia of Fishers, IN; stepson, Joseph Simonds, wife Stacy; stepdaughter, Bridget Rainey, husband Dallas; step grandchildren, Camren, Dominic, Marina, Patrick, Erick, Tyler, Katie, Taryn, John, Jackson and Reese; sister, Lin Petkovich, significant other Mark. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ellen Carroll. She touched so many lives in different ways and will be missed by all. Services will be held 11:00 AM Sat. Feb. 20th at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. A calling will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM.
