Audrey Schenkel

Audrey A. Schenkel, of Quakertown, died Feb. 5 in her home. She was the wife of Richard B. Schenkel. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in December. Born in Richland Twp., Bucks Co. she was the daughter of the late Durrell E. and Miriam (Beck) Ackerman. Audrey graduated from Quakertown High School in 1951 and worked at the former Bucks County Bank & Trust, Quakertown office for 43 years before retiring as assistant manager in 1995. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Richlandtown. Surviving with husband, son, Tim and wife Joan of Richboro, grandchildren, Jaclyn and TJ. Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, Feb. 12th in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown. Visitation: 10:00-11:00 am Saturday.
