Arlene Ahlum

Arlene H. Ahlum, 90, of Haycock Twp. died Wed. Oct. 21 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. She was the widow of Paul E. Ahlum, Sr. Born in Springfield Twp., Bucks Co. she was a daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Timmer) Feikel. Arlene worked over 25 years for the Quakertown School District before retiring, first as a cook at Haycock Elementary School and later in the Quakertown High School cafeteria. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church- Springfield, Pleasant Valley. She is survived by her sons Paul E. Jr., wife Yolanda, and Lamar R. Feikel, wife Rita, all of Quakertown; grandchildren James & Kristin; sister, Emily Surman. She was predeceased by a grandson, Lamar Feikel, Jr. and sisters, Margaret, Helen & Mary. Funeral services will be held Tues. Oct. 27, 11 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church-Springfield, 2170 Rt. 212, Coopersburg, Pa. 18036. Family & friends are invited to call at the church 10 - 11 am. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Valley. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the church. The Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, is in charge of arrangements.
