Anton Goepfert

Anton J. Goepfert Jr., 81, of Quakertown, PA., died Sat., Sept. 26th in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy (Royer) Goepfert. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on December 22, 2008. Born in W. Rockhill Twp., Bucks Co., he was the son of the late Anton J. and Evelyn (Houser) Goepfert. He worked in the maintenance department at Crawford Candies, Souderton for five years before retiring. Previously, he worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital " Cedar Crest and St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Perkasie and a life member of the Great Swamp Rod & Gun Club. Surviving: wife, sons, Anton and wife Patti, James and wife Mary Weising all of Quakertown; grandchildren, Crystal, Andrew, Amanda, Kyle, Andrea, Frank, Matt, Donna, Janine; great-grandchildren, Haley, Jordan, Gabriel, Kasey, Logan, Frank Jr., Caitlyn, Adam, Jaymie, Matthew, Samuel, Nicole, Sarah, Taylor, Derek, Kahla, Samantha; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son. Services will be held 11:00 am Thurs, Oct. 1 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown, PA.
