Anthony Galli, age 92, of Telford, PA passed away on May 25, 2021 at Phoebe Richland Nursing Center. He was the loving husband to the late Ruth I. (Paris) Galli with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Mauro and Antoinette (Terlizzi) Galli.
Anthony proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Tony worked for Acme Supermarket for 30 years and then delivered mail for Quakertown school district for 4 years after he retired. He also drove a taxi for the old Yellow Cab.
Tony Played Quarterback for Pennmore, an Independent Area football team. Up until 90, he was still a catcher for a local softball team. He loved talking Philadelphia sports at any time.
Surviving is his stepdaughter: Paula Schroeder husband Richard, granddaughter: Charlene Affatato, husband Joe, great granddaughter: Olivia and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings: Joseph, Elizabeth, Mario, Viola, Edea, Elvera, Mauro, Carmella and Helen.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday June 3, 2021 at the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. Burial will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
