Anna Stoneback

Anna Dorothy Stoneback of Quakertown, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at her home on the Family Farm.  She was 94 years old.  She was the loving and devoted wife of Richard H. Stoneback to whom she was married 72 years.

She was the mother of Thomas and James Stoneback, who she loved very much.

Surviving with her husband and sons are her daughter-in-law, Carol Stoneback, grandchildren Rachel Slifer and her husband J.R., and Thomas Stoneback and his wife Michelle.  Four great-grandsons Raymond and Richard Slifer, and Adam and Jacob Stoneback.

Dorothy dedicated her life to the family farm and worked at Hagers Meat Market, a family-owned business in Quakertown for many years. In her later years, she enjoyed cooking, her flowers, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Lucy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Gable. Her seven siblings, Milton, Robert, Russell, Paul, Mildred, Grace, and MaryJane, nieces, and nephews.

Services and burial will be held privately. Arrangements will be handled by Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Quakertown, PA.
