Andrew Owens

Andrew J. Owens, 87, of Richlandtown, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2013 in Doylestown Hospital. He was the husband of Roberta "Bert" (MacDougall) Owens and celebrated 65 years of marriage this past July. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Eleanor (Gately) Owens. Andrew worked as a Philadelphia Police Officer for over 28 years. He enjoyed watching reading, but most importantly he was a devoted family man. Surviving with his wife is daughter; Linda J. Bicich, husband Michael of New Hope; brother, John; sisters, Eleanor Frederick, Mary Ellen Swift and Patricia Palumbo; grandchildren; Amanda, husband Michael and Leslee, husband Kris; great grandchildren; Sammy, Owen and Kaiden.
