Alta Portzer

Alta Marie Portzer, 100, of Allentown, formerly of Quakertown, died Tuesday, September 27th in Cedarbrook Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Allen A. Portzer Born in Bangor, Northampton Co., PA she was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles and Lottie (Jenkins) Spangenberg. She was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, as well as the Quakertown Women's Club, American Legion Ladies Auxilary, Quakertown and life member of Quakertown BPW. Surviving: son, David A. Portzer of Albany, NY; sister, Mary Ann Wotring of Coplay; grandsons, Andrew, Brett, Chad. Service: 11:00 AM Monday, October 3 at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Interment: St. Isidore's Cemetery.
