Alice Colas

Alice Colas, 90 years of age, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ralph; three brothers, Bill Meyer, Myron Meyer, and Jim Meyer; and one sister, Rosalie Brown. She is survived by sons Kevin (Esther) Colas, Craig (Nancy) Colas, daughter Lauren Colas, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and her brother, Kenneth Meyer.

Alice was born in Englewood, Colorado and graduated from nursing school in Kansas City, Kansas. She later attended Baptist Bible Seminary in Johnson City, New York, where she met her husband Ralph. Alice worked many years as an RN and was a supportive pastor’s wife while Ralph pastored churches in Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, Alaska, and Pennsylvania.

After Ralph’s death in 2015, she moved from Allentown, Pennsylvania to Colorado to be cared for by her son Kevin and daughter-in-law Esther. Alice was known for putting the needs of others before her own and willingly sacrificing for her family. She continued to demonstrate a positive and grateful spirit as she declined physically and mentally. Her eternal hope rested in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We look forward to a glorious, future reunion with her in Heaven.

Funeral arrangements are with Jeffery A. Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. There will be a private burial at the convenience of the family per her request.
