Albert C. Laubach, 61, of Quakertown, died Fri. Mar. 14 in the Hospice House of St. Luke's VNA. He was the husband of Cheryl (Mullarkey) Laubach. Born in Phila, he was a son of Florence (Lutteroty) Fitzgerald of Belmar, NJ and the late Albert Laubach. He was a safety director for Parkside Utility Construction, Harleysville, where he worked for over 25 years. Al served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was active for years with Quakertown youth sports programs, especially football & baseball, serving in various offices and coaching. More recently, his joy was spending time with his granddaughters, great nephews and great niece. Surviving with his wife, son Thomas, wife Kelly and granddaughters, Ella & Addisyn of Pottstown, daughter Lori Murphy, Quakertown, and siblings James Fitzgerald, Maryanne Barndt, Lisa Sodano. Al's life will be celebrated with a gathering of family & friends, Sun, Mar. 23, 1 PM at Hobo's Restaurant, Quakertown. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown will be at the convenience of the family.
