Alan Hein

Alan R. Hein, 64, of Sellersville, died Sun., Feb. 21, at a family home. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Flood) Hein for the past 35 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Fern (Renninger) and the late Roy J. Hein. A graduate of Shippensburg University, he was employed for 25 years by The Shepherd Agency. His work ethic and dedication to perfection served him well as their Chief Financial Officer. Alan enjoyed supporting his children's sporting events and attending their concerts, attending the Indy 500, and working on classic cars. Surviving with his wife and mother are daughters Erin Burke, husband Adam, of E. Greenville, Lauren Hein and Meredith Hein, both of Telford; son Jonathan Hein of Sellersville; brother Brian Hein, wife Denise, of Whitehall; and niece Tiffany Hein of Baltimore. A memorial service will be held 11 AM on Sat., Feb. 27th, at Bethel Baptist Church, 754 E. Rockhill Rd., Sellersville. The family will be receiving friends and neighbors at the church before the service from 9:30-11 AM. Inurnment will be at Limerick Gardens of Memory at the family's convenience. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Missions.
