Agostino Lombardo

Agostino D. Lombardo, age 62, died Thur. Sept. 10, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born Apr. 28, 1958, in Corona, NY, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Marie (Liggieri) Lombardo, and the husband of Cynthia (Lopez) Lombardo. Known as "Augie" to all who loved him, he had a love of life. Augie was a professional chef and enjoyed creating in the kitchen. He was the quintessential host, and loved entertaining family and friends in his home. Augie always made everyone feel welcomed. He was a fisherman, sharing his love of fishing with his nephew Keon. He enjoyed hunting and was a sports fanatic. Go Mets!! Augie also loved spending time in his garden, and took great pride in his landscaping skills. More recently, he discovered his love of painting. His life is impossible to squeeze into one paragraph... a family man, rough and tumble, an artist, and, most importantly, dearly loved. In addition to his wife, Agostino is survived by: children Salvatore Lombardo, Faith Lombardo, Christine Mora (husband Hector), Michelle Damiano, and Anthony Damiano; great-nephew Gabriel Mora; and great-niece Natalie Damiano. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: brother Rocco Lombardo; and sister Fran Lombardo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Agostino's name to The American Cancer Society, at 3893 Adler Place, Ste. 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
